Barn Owls in Britain

The disappearance, after many years of nesting nearby to the author’s home, sparked an interest in the species. He spent many years surveying Barn Owls in Suffolk, and much time researching the species on a national and international scale. The results are published in this monograph from Whittet Books. Investigating the biology of Barn Owls and, in particular, the problems driving the decline witnessed in the 1970s and ‘80s Jeff Martin takes a very personal odyssey through Barn Owl life.
