American Birding Sketchbook

A purely visual book in which Michael Warren takes us on a whistle stop tour of all 50 American States in alphabetical order.  Through his numerous, crowded even, delightfully observed paintings and annotated sketches we are given a taster of the birds and habitats which he has visited over the years. Besides the general outline map of the states, another map to show the sites would have made it easier to follow.
