BirdTrack research workshop

18 Dec 2015 BirdTrack research workshop
A BirdTrack research workshop took place at BTO HQ in Thetford, Norfolk on 26 November. The workshop focused on identifying the value of BirdTrack data to conservation science. The morning session examined the nature of the dataset and pinpointed data gaps where it could make a significant contribution to applied conservation. Later on, participants considered research priorities and opportunities for BirdTrack to help answer key ecological questions.

The workshop brought together a broad group of researchers and conservation practitioners from across Europe and the lively discussion groups generated many valuable ideas throughout the day.
