Brighton Marathon 2010

 

Whether you are a regular runner or a complete beginner, there are lots of opportunities to race and raise money for the BTO. Races of all lengths take place nationally during the whole year; so use the link towards the bottom of the page to find the right race for you.

Brighton Marathon 2012  - event now closed

To run for us and help inform the conservation of Britain's birds, all you need to do is fill in an application form and return this with a non-refundable deposit of £45 to secure your place.

We ask that runners commit to raising a minimum sponsorship amount of £400, payable after the event. We can provide you with sponsorship forms and offer advice to help you to reach your fundraising target.

A massive thank you and congratulations to Chris Whyte and to Allison West for all their training and hard work. Both completed the Brighton Marathon on the 10th April 2011 and together raised over £1000 to help our research.

Well done and thank you to Nicola (pictured right), Julie and John for completing the Brighton Marathon and raising money to support the work of the BTO. Thanks also to Tom and Peter, who started training but had to pull out due to injury.

 

Marathon a little too much ...

 

There are 100's of races taking part all over the country at all times of the year. If you would like to run for us, choose your race (taking into account race length, location and time of year) and then contact us once you have confirmed your place. We can then provide you with sponsorship forms and promotional material and help you set up an online fundraising page.
