The Atlas appeal
Bird Atlas 2007-11 - the final year
Bird Atlas 2007 - 11 is the biggest challenge yet! The field work alone has taken four years. The cost of coordinating and supporting the thousands of dedicated volunteer bird watchers, and recording and analysing the results will cost a total of £1,410,000.
We still need your help, both out in the field counting birds and in gaining the financial support necessary to organise the work, analyse the results and produce the final atlas. This will show how birds have been afffected by the changing habitats and climates over the last few decades.
