National Sea-watching Workshop report

Sea-watching is carried out at a great many locations in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and northwest Europe, and has the potential to provide considerable information on the distribution and movements of seabirds away from their breeding colonies. A national sea-watching monitoring scheme could help capture this vital information. A recent workshop, funded by The Crown Estate, reviewed how this might happen.
