Guidelines
for returning users
If you took part
in Nest Box Challenge last year and none of the garden or nest box
details that you entered have changed:
- There
is no need to re-register anything – simply select a box
from the Your Options menu and add your details
as last year.
If you have moved house
and would like to register a new garden:
- Select
‘Remove garden’ from the Your Options
menu on Data Home.
- Check
the ‘Remove garden and all its nest boxes’ box and
click on the ‘Remove all checked gardens from my list’
button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select
‘Register 2nd Garden’ to add details
of your new garden.
- Select
‘Register new nest box' to add your nest
box details.
If you have changed
a feature of your garden (i.e. removing a tree, changing
the amount of food you provide):
- Select
‘Remove garden’ from the Your Options
menu.
- Check the ‘This garden has changed’
box and click on the ‘Remove all checked gardens from my
list’ button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select ‘Register
2nd Garden’ to add a new garden, making
sure you register it under the same postcode.
- There
is no need to re-enter your nest box details.
If you have relocated
one of your boxes (i.e. changing the height or aspect):
- Select 'Remove nest box' from the Your
Options menu.
- Check the 'Remove this nest box' box.
- Click on the 'Remove all checked nest boxes
from my list' button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select 'Register new nest box'.
