Since 2012 we have been running the first Wales specific survey led by the BTO Cymru office. Due to the appalling weather conditions in 2012, which severely challenged our volunteers, the survey will continue in 2013 to ensure that we have as full as possible picture of the distribution and requirements of some of species of Chats.

The Chats in Wales survey will concentrate on Whinchat, Stonechat and Wheatear.
