Download instructions and forms for
the field
For those of
you who would like to be able to read more about Migration Watch
at your leisure, we have provided a copy of the instructions and
recording forms on this page for you to download. These files contain
identical information to that found in our drop-down menus and help
buttons. It is not essential to download
these files in order to take part. The forms have been
designed so that you can print them out and take them out into the
field if you wish. Alternatively you may want to complete paper
copies of the forms at home so it won't take long to fill in the
on-line version. There is no need to use any of these recording
forms although it is important to know which species are on your
chosen list and to make a record of your observations in the field.
The forms are simply provided for those who find them helpful.
These downloads
are all supplied as .pdf files so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader
installed to read or print them. If you do not already have this
software it can be downloaded free from the Adobe
web site.
Please note
that these files may take several minutes to download, depending
on the speed of your modem.

Help
for birdwatchers without their own internet access
You can also download the lists and give them to a friend who doesn't
have access to the Internet. Perhaps you could kindly offer to input
their records too! In that case please register them as a separate
observer and enter their records under their own user id. You will
need to give your own e-mail address so that you can pass on any
queries about their records.
For those who
do not have their own internet facilities, public libraries and
a range of other outlets provide free or low cost access to the
internet. UK Online Centres provide such facilities together with
help and advice for those who do not have previous experience of
using the internet. Their website will allow you to find out about
your nearest UK Online Centres.
