Breeding Swallow Survey 2004

In some areas of the country Swallows are doing well but in others, especially in the south and east, there have been recent declines in numbers. By filling in this form you are helping us to find out why. We are particularly interested in the number of breeding attempts made by each pair of Swallows. Please see the BTO website for information to help you fill in the form. If you have more than one pair of Swallows for which you want to send in details you will need to fill in one form for each pair.

Please fill in the details on the on-line reporting form. If you have problems, use the table below and post it to us. Please insert the date that you notice each event, the sex of the bird (if you can tell) and the number of eggs or young.
