2004 WEATHER

2004 was the first year in which we began featuring weather reports sent in by BTO/CJ Garden BirdWatchers. Those for 2004 come from Colin Harwood and his garden in Nottingham. Over the coming months we hope to recuit other Garden BirdWatchers with an interest in weather, so that we can build up a picture of regional differences in weather patterns as seen by those participating in the project.

When we come to do analyses of how birds use gardens in relation to weather we use information gathered from the network of local weather stations and management by the Met Office.
