| The
BTO House Sparrow Survey work was run over the summers of
2003 and 2004 and has involved BTO/CJ Garden BirdWatchers
visiting randomly selected squares in cities and towns spread
across the country to gather information on how House Sparrows
use different habitats. This information is being analysed
by BTO researchers and the results are to be released in 2005.
The first part
of the Survey involved a questionnaire, looking at House Sparrows
in gardens. The results from the first part of the project
are available by clicking here.
