| I organise the BTO/CJ Garden BirdWatch survey, coordinating
the network of 17,000 volunteers who record the birds using
their gardens on a weekly basis. |
| Research Interests/Responsibilities |
| I am responsible for the development and operation
of BTO Garden BirdWatch. This survey provides information on
the use made of gardens across Britain & Ireland and contributes
to our wider work within the built environment. My research
interests extend to encompass work on Barn Owl survey and monitoring
methods, methods for monitoring mammal species and bird migration. |
