Research Interests/Responsibilities
Supervision of UK Wetland Bird Survey national programme (3000 volunteers). Overseeing BTO waterbird research programme. Supervision of a wide range of projects ranging from research into the factors affecting waterbird population dynamics (eg climate change, habitat change, water quality) to EIAs. Clients include JNCC, CCW, Defra, DoE(NI), EA, EN, Oman govt, consultancies, FTSE 100 companies, RSPB and WWF.
