| I supervise a team of two in the Ringing Unit and my role
is to oversee and deal with the licensing of bird ringers and
the sales and administration of ringing equipment. In addition
I continue to support the recoveries team with their work. |

| Research Interests/Responsibilities |
Licensing of bird ringers with ringing permits,
Cannon Netting, using unconventional methods, monitoring rare
breeding birds and maintaining a database of all their details.
Organising ringing courses and meeting ringers in the field
and at conferences. Responsible for and oversee the administration
and sales of ringing equipment. Also process ring recoveries.

| Other Information |
| Involved with bird ringing for 32 years. Mainly
interested in monitoring of seabirds and I am joint Leader of
Sule Skerry Seabird Ringing Group. I am also involved with Barn
Owl project, Heronry census, Swallow roost project, CE site
ringing and I am currently a Cannon Net licence holder. |
