I manage the collection of ringing & recovery data from ringers in Britain & Ireland, and management of the ORACLE ringing/recovery database.
Qualifications
BSc (Hons) Biology & Environmental Studies, Manchester Metropolitan University, 1985-1988
GCSE French (2003)
GCSE Spanish (2006)
Research Interests/Responsibilities
My post entails day-to-day management of the ORACLE Ringing/Recovery database. I also co-ordinate the Swallow Roost Ringing Project (2002-2006). I assist with ringing courses and training and development of ringing software for ringers.
Other Information
Qualified bird ringer. Holder of ‘A’ class ringing permit.
