Contact your BBS Regional Organiser (RO)

Initially, you will need to contact your RO using the BBS Pre-registration web application. The website will provide you with details of your RO, with a message box for you to fill in some details about where you live and your level of experience in bird song and call identification. Once the email message has been sent, it is then the responsibility of the RO to contact you (remember, ROs do go on holiday, so if you are having problems getting in contact, please email: ). If the RO does not have an email address, you will need to contact them using the telephone number provided (usually an evening-only home number).

Once you have made contact with your RO, you will discuss with the RO whether the BBS is suitable for you, and whether there is a suitable survey site nearby. Once everyone agrees, the RO will allocate you a BBS square and send you the relevant survey forms and instruction.
