BTO Resource Centre Appeal

The Max Nicholson Building

The new Resource Centre will be housed within the renamed Max Nicholson Building.

Max Nicholson founded the BTO in 1932, after organising the first national census of heronries, the BTO's longest running survey. He led the BTO's development for many years and was a staunch supporter until his death in 2004. Max was an established writer, journalist, civil servant, environmentalist and general goad to the establishment!
The Trust awarded him a unique Founder's Medal in 1991.
